2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Features, Specs & Trims

2019 jeep grand cherokee specs features trims

Ever since its arrival in ’93, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been redefining the luxury SUV market. Jeep took the rugged, capable features it’s recognized for and included a degree of opulence previously only seen in high-end imports. Twenty-five years later, the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee has evolved yet it still uses the very same mix of ability and opulence. Let’s take a look at the most up to date variation of the extremely popular SUV.

Performance Highlights

When it was first released in 1993, there was only one engine offered. The 2019 Grand Cherokee has 5 different engine options that can pair with the 8-speed automatic. The standard engine is a 3.6 L V6 creating up to 295hp, and up to 26 miles per gallon on the freeway. Those are pretty impressive power numbers yet we’re just beginning. The first optional engine is the 5.7 L V8 that generates 360 horsepower, followed by the 6.4 L HEMI V8 generating 475 horsepower. Those two V8s can get nearly 22mpg and 19mpg on the freeway, respectively. There’s even a 3.0 L Diesel engine available that has 420 lb-ft. of torque that can get up to 30 miles per gallon on the freeway. That brings us to our last engine option, discovered in the extremely remarkable Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk. The TrackHawk is a one-of-a-kind extremely powerful variation of the Grand Cherokee and it includes a 6.2 L Supercharged V8 producing an impressive 707 horsepower. From fuel-efficient commuter to a track-day champion, regardless of what you desire in an SUV, the brand-new Grand Cherokee has you covered.

Design Highlights

The really intriguing part about the ’19 Grand Cherokee is that it is a true chameleon and can be set up anywhere from glamorous to off-roader to track monster. Identified by dramatic lines, aerodynamic contours as well as an elegant yet sporty stance, it may take more than one glance to see all that the brand-new Grand Cherokee has to supply today’s driver. The offered 20-inch wheels, optional Bi-Xenon HID headlamps, LED taillights and premium fog lights truly flaunt the workhorse layout of the new Grand Cherokee. Inside you’ll see available heated/cooled front seats, offered Signature Leather seating, as well as an available Blu-Ray Entertainment System. As handsome as the Grand Cherokee looks from the outside, the inside is just as compelling.

Tech Highlights

Every new Jeep Grand Cherokee includes a long list of excellent tech offerings including ParkSense® Rear Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Path Detection, Hill Start Assist, and Trailer Sway Control. Forward Collision Warning (with Active Braking), Adaptive Cruise Control, and Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist are just some of the optional safety and security functions that can be included in the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Several of the even more enjoyable choices are a 7-inch reconfigurable Multi-View Display Cluster and an 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen stereo with NAV, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The TrackHawk features Exclusive Performance Pages, Launch Control, as well as Selec-Track adaptive damping system. Whether you need an off-road king or a road-eating monster, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is ready to impress you.

We travel during winter and had to have an oil change/tire rotation on our new (to us) Pacifica while in the area Our service advisor, Xavier Maddox, was most accommodating. As we were waiting, he informed us about how long it might take (actually took less than he said) and kept us informed throughout the process, Xavier was pleasant, courteous, and helpful. Thank you.

Finnegan Dodge is the worst place ever to take your car. DON'T DO IT. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR THERE EVER AGAIN. AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST ISSUE I HAVE HAD WITH THEM. IT IS ABOUT THE 5TH ONE. I took my 2023 Dodge Challenger there on Saturday 1/10/2026. I booked my appointment online and I wanted them to do my State inspection and I keep hearing a rattling where my muffler is. So I dropped it off at 12:30 even though my appointment wasn't until 2 but I said that's fine do what you need to. So I ... Read More

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience with Finnegan chrysler Jeep Dodge, I feel it's necessary to warn others. I traded in my previous vehicle and purchased a new one from this dealership, expecting a smooth and respectful process from start to finish. Unfortunately, while the sales process started off decently, the way I was treated after signing the papers has been completely unacceptable. Once the dealership had my trade-in and the deal was finalized, the communication stopped. I had questions and concerns that came up immediately after the purchase—some involving paperwork, some about the ... Read More

This dealership has been nothing but a headache. I've had the same battery issue over and over, and instead of actually fixing the problem, they just swap it out with another "new" battery that ends up going bad again. To make things worse, they give you problems when it comes to honoring the warranty -- instead of standing behind the most recent replacement, they fall back on the original warranty, which makes absolutely no sense. If you're giving out faulty batteries, why should the customer be penalized? On top of that, good luck trying to get ... Read More

Noooo!!! My people, what a disappointment this dealership is, I do not recommend coming here. Everyone seems to want to help you and provide good service, but when your vehicle breaks down, you bring it in to get it fixed, it takes almost two weeks to get it fixed, only for the vehicle to end up worse. Even though they are a large dealer, they do not have vehicles to lend, since it is their problem for not having good workers in the service area/mechanics. How do you manage to be paying for such an expensive vehicle, not being ... Read More
